The name of the series - Wiener Cup/Glass - (Viennese Cup/Glass) is inspired by the Viennese workshops of the early twentieth century in Vienna. Also the Wiener Werkstatte logo was an inspiration in the creation of this new design.

We thought that the size of the Wiener Cup would be suitable at the same time for tea but also for coffee or espresso. Instead, the Wiener Glass has a generous volume of 370 ml, suitable for water, lemonade, or iced coffee drinks. The design is a fusion between the geometric elegance of Viennese Art Nouveau and the objects created in the following period - Art Deco - the triangle being an element often used in the creation of design or architecture of that period.
