ABOUT
CERAMIC
STREAM

Ceramic Stream is a design and production studio dedicated to ceramics, located in Bucharest. Here we produced a series of collections, especially teaware, trying to define a visual discourse associated with classical modernism. Ceramic Stream proposes new and original shapes with finishes and decorations made mostly by hand; to maintain quality, the journey from idea to final product takes place exclusively in the Ceramic Stream workshop.

The inspiration comes from different areas of the art, especially Modernism and the artistic movements of the early twentieth century, architecture, different designers as Koloman Moser, Josef Hoffmann, William Morris or Masahiro Mori.

Ceramic design is the field that opens the road to exploring the many means of expression that complement the shape and the function: decor, color or illustration. Our collections are composed of unique objects or small series, each piece following a production and decoration process mostly made by hand. All the objects are entirely drawn and produced in our studio because the shapes and the decor are complex and we want them to reach very high finishing standards.
